Gift-Worthy DIY Bath Soaks

Baths are generally a really lovely way to consciously practice self care, especially if you enhance the experience a little! We’ve gathered a few of our favourite, DIY, natural bath ‘experiences’ below. What we like about them, is they are all very simple recipes that can be made with completely natural ingredients, many of which are likely already in your house. The how-to’s for all of them are the same, and super simple: mix all ingredients together, add to bath. Also, these are very flexible guidelines—it’s not like baking or cooking—so you should feel totally free to tweak, adjust, and substitute ingredients and amounts used to your heart’s content. If you want to turn your creation into a gift, just find an attractive mason jar and fill it up! (But be sure to stick with the soaks that only use dry ingredient for gifts.) And a final note, if you have sensitive plumbing, you’ll want to cover your drain with a thin towel or cheesecloth as you’re emptying the tub, so nothing gets washed down the drain—if gifting, you could even use cheesecloth or muslin for wrapping, with a note on how to use it.  Happy Soaking!
