April 22 is Earth Day, a great reminder to pause and think about how important it is to work on reducing our impact on the planet. We of course all have to look after our Earth every day, not just one day. And while it can for sure sometimes feel overwhelming, one of the great parts about committing to a more environmentally friendly lifestyle is experiencing how good it can be for us, too—both in terms of our basic health, and in being able to really enjoy the great quality of the foods we consume and the products we use and surround ourselves with. It's so wonderful to see the green shoots and blossoms and renewal all around us as we (finally!) head into spring. It makes us want to feel just as fresh and glowing ourselves! So this month we've rounded up a few general but always great to keep in mind tips on natural skin care, so we can all move into this new season with a sense of rejuvenation.

We like to think of Valentine's Day as not just about romance, but as a nice reminder to spread some love to everyone around. This is especially important because it falls near the end of winter when, even in the best years, many of us could use a little pick me up. And kind gestures don't have to be restricted to the 14th! The pandemic has gotten many of us into looking for new crafts and tackling DIY projects, so we scoured the internet to handpick a few simple projects you can make yourself that would make really nice gifts for friends/family/neighbours you haven't been able to spend time with—or will just brighten your own home and life.
